Learning Methodology
Our holistic pedagogy rests on the concept of Democratic Learning or Freedom Learning, where students have a say in what, when and how they attain knowledge. We believe that each child is born with a unique talent that needs to be discovered and moulded. We, at Origami, discover that talent and mould each child into their true and unique Origami. Our learners are treated as individuals and encouraged to express themselves in a way that suits them best. We empower our learners to discover their unique take on the world and its wonders and encourage them to ask questions, be inquisitive and embrace practical learning.
Origami’s Way Of Learning:
- Conceptual Learning
We help children identify who they are and provide them with all the platforms to exhibit their talent in the best possible way.
- Structured Learning
Structure is a key component of early childhood education and our teachers create frameworks surrounding the well-being of our students to ensure enhanced learning at an optimal pace.
- Organized Learning
Children are taught how to maintain documents and journals daily which helps them manage time, be organized, plan their days effectively and avoid procrastination and confusion.
- Stress-free / Burdenless Learning
Teachers give students the freedom to study when their mind wants to and this helps develop the right mindset before they sit to learn.
- Defined Learning
Defined learning is the concept of teaching limited students. The tight teacher-to-student ratio allows the teachers to pay individual and personalized attention to each child to nurture their interests and passion.
- Enquiry-Based Learning
Enquiry-based learning is carried out through ‘Learning by Doing’ which engages students through hands-on activities. This also encourages students to ask more questions about what is taught and thereby improves critical thinking.
- Democratic Learning
Learners shape education through active participation and decision-making.
